A new cocktail bar, lounge and music venue has opened for business in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Washington Square, called Leda & The Swan, is located at 1224 Chestnut St.
Dubbed as a "music and cocktail hideaway," Leda & The Swan serves up specialty cocktails, DJs and live music, according to Philly Mag.
On the menu, look for beer, wine, spirits and signature cocktails. Look for its signature Salvation of Humanity mixed drink, a blend of white whiskey, ginger beer, lime and Alagash White brew.
The new cocktail bar has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Krystal B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 2, wrote, "This is what Philadelphia needed. The music is on point and the drinks are eclectic. Vibe is amazing."
Yelper Komal R. added, “It was quite crowded, but had good music and good vibes. I got a honey and blueberry vodka. For the price, I wanted more flavor. Overall, it's a great new addition to Center City."
Head on over to check it out: Leda & The Swan is open from 5 p.m.–2 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday. (It's closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.)
