He is good in a crate and okay on a leash. He'll do well in a calm household that can help build his confidence — and maybe with a dog friend to show him the way.

She was a shelter favorite as they watched her blossom from a shy and timid girl to a fun-loving sweetheart. She is a rockstar in dog playgroups and she now loves everyone she meets. She also fetches a ball and loves toys. She's submissive with other dogs and walks well on a leash.

Haisel is a darling female pit bull terrier and retriever mix currently housed at Forgotten Dogs Rescue.

Haisel is already spayed, and she has had all her shots. She has mastered her house-training etiquette.

We would like to introduce you to Haisel, also known as Hayes to her foster parents. She loves running around and rough housing, but when she’s done, she enjoys a good cuddle session with her people. Her foster family describes Hayes as nearly perfect with one tiny flaw: She has some separation anxiety, which will require a home where she isn’t left alone for long, or a home where she can accompany her people to work.

Taichi gets along well with cats and dogs. Taichi is looking for a home without small children. He has been vaccinated and neutered. He's mastered his house-training etiquette.

From Taichi's current caretaker:

Taichi is an estimated three-year-old, 38 lb "Pharaoh Hound mix" who was picked up as a stray on the highways of Kauai. Taichi has done well with all other dogs in his foster homes and has learned great leash manners. He is a quiet dog, not a big barker and good in the crate (so long as it's properly secured, otherwise he can get out). He enjoys snuggles and playtime with his person. Taichi can be cautious meeting new people and will need a confident owner who can proivde structure and leadership. Taichi would do well with another dog in the home (though it's not a requirement) but does need an adult only household. He is fine with cats.

Ellie is friendly as can be, and she loves other dogs. Ellie is already spayed and vaccinated. Fear not: She is already house-trained.

Ellie is a super sweet three-year-old female Pit mix who is a great size at 45 lbs. She is good with other dogs as well as children. She has not been tested with cats. She is going to make someone a wonderful pet.

Lucy is an adorable chihuahua/terrier mix with the cutest snaggle tooth we have ever seen! She is estimated to be around two years old, and our transporter reports that she is as sweet as can be. Indoors, she's comfortable and relaxed, and developing a more bold and quirky personality. She's house trained, food motivated, and good on a leash. She is a bit timid/scared of loud noises (big trucks/construction) but we are working on getting her comfortable to city living and she is improving each day. She'll do fine in a home with or without another dog.
