Amazon Go Grocery opens new location in Capitol HillPhoto: Amazon Go Grocery/Yelp

Local fans of grocery stores are in luck. You'll find a new Amazon Go location at 610 E. Pike St. in Capitol Hill.

Amazon Go Grocery provides a cashier-less shopping experience. Customers grab whatever items they need off the shelves and can walk out without waiting in line to pay. You'll need an Amazon account and the Amazon Go app downloaded to your phone in order to shop.

Here, you'll find grocery items like fresh produce, meat, seafood, bakery items, grab-and-go meals, household items and more.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Amazon Go Grocery has already made a good impression.

Jenny N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 9, wrote, "You can't help but feel like you're stealing when shopping here! The prices were reasonable, some items even cheaper than Whole Foods."

And Daniel F. wrote, "This is quite possibly one of my favorite shopping experiences, and I hope this trend continues. There is even a decent selection of adult beverages behind a secure viewing area where they check ID."

Head on over to check it out: Amazon Go Grocery is open from 8 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 8 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
