Local cookie bakery Bang Cookies has opened up a new location at 128 Newark Ave., steps from the Grove Street PATH Station downtown.
Bang Cookies launched its flagship store in the Heights in 2016 "as a response to run-of-the-mill, unsatisfying cookies," according to the business's website.
The bakery's organic cookies come in classic, deluxe, "boozy" and stuffed varieties. Check out the espresso chocolate chunk cookie, the whiskey-infused bourbon walnut toffee cookie, and the chocolate chip cookie filled with caramel and topped with sea salt. Bang Cookies' cookies and custom cookie cakes are also available to order online.
The new location of Bang Cookies has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
