Topping the list is Indies. Located at 530 Euclid Ave. in the Colonial Market Place Food Court in downtown Cleveland, the Indian and Pakistani spot is the highest-rated cheap Indian restaurant in Cleveland, boasting 4.5 stars out of 72 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Kristen F., who reviewed Indies on Sept. 23, wrote, "I got a heaping to-go box of food for $6.50. I wanted an all-vegan plate, and she was so kind enough to let me know exactly which ones were vegan. Everything is clearly marked on her menu board, too."

Yelper Jennifer D. wrote, "This place is like having an Indian mother or grandmother cooking up amazing and my price point Indian food...The food is completely customizable, as you can order between meat and [a] vegetarian entree. You'll leave with a smile on your face, in addition to having a great lunch at under $10."

2. Himalayan Restaurant
