A new coffee roastery has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Central Arlington, called Salter Bros, can be found at 400 E. Division St.
Salter Bros provides high-end specialty coffees, which are made from ethically sourced beans and roasted in Arlington, as noted on its website. Offerings available for order include Guatemalan, Costa Rican, Brazilian, Honduran and Colombian coffee roasts, as well as a selection of iced teas.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Salter Bros is well on its way to developing a local fan base.
Carolyn J., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new outpost on March 18, wrote, "My drink today was a chai tea latte. The tea [smelled] amazing. ... Actually made from tea, not a powder. I had a vanilla-flavored chai and added a few pumps of vanilla syrup. I loved every bit of it."
And Jared J. added, "Arlington has been behind the curve of the local coffee shop scene for quite some time. Salter Bros aims to change that trend. With a an in-shop roaster and made-to-order coffee bar, this place is the place to gather, study or get a drink for the road."
Head on over to check it out: Salter Bros is open from 7 a.m.–noon on Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m.–6 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday.
