Looking to sample some upscale Indian fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Paisley, the fresh addition is located at 429 Greenwich St. in Tribeca.
At the helm of the new restaurant is chef Peter Beck, who previously served as executive chef at Indian restaurants Imli and Tamarind, the latter of which was awarded a Michelin Star during Beck's tenure. Beck's menu for Paisley features refined small plates, curries and meat and seafood dishes, all of which draw on a wide spectrum of Indian cuisines for inspiration.
Check out starters like the roasted pumpkin soup, Delhi chaat and duck crepe with lemon pepper sauce. Mains include an assortment of curries made with chicken, fish, goat and more, as well as signature plates of lamb chops, venison and tandoori Cornish hen, all available with sides of rice and naan. Paisley also boasts a full bar and an additional, private dining room.
With a 4.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Paisley is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Tiffany L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 26, wrote, "I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a place to try. Had a great experience, and I think Paisley deserves to be on more people's radars!"
Yelper JR B. noted, “Very creative and delicious."
Paisley is now open, so head on over to check it out.
