New Japanese spot Donburi Station debuts in GeorgetownPhoto: Jason P./Yelp

If you've got Japanese on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. The fresh arrival to Georgetown, called Donburi Station, is located at 5503 Airport Way South.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of donburi, which means "bowl" in Japanese. Types of donburi include chicken teriyaki, salmon poke, grilled short rib, tonkatsu and more. There are also dumplings, salads and miso soup on the menu.

The new addition has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Jason P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 18, wrote, "Got the classic chirashi; it's the same great chirashi with pretty good quality and tons of fish for the price."

Yelper Valerie D. added, “The quality of the food is spectacular and very affordable. I highly recommend the chirashi and unagi donburi."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Donburi Station is open from 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
