Founded by a brother-sister duo from Italy, Pura Vita Super offers homemade, small-batch, dairy-free gelato in classic flavors like chocolate, pistachio and cookies and cream, all of which are made with either an oat milk or coconut milk base.
The new spot also offers sorbets, as well as coffee, tea, pastries and other treats. Everything at Pura Vita Super is plant-based, and the shop strives to source its ingredients locally and to be plastic-free.
Pura Vita Super has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
Michelle S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 22, wrote, "Wow, Pura Vita's gelato is so rich and creamy! I'm not even vegan, but this new vegan gelato spot will definitely be my new go-to!"
