Ray, pit bull terrier mix

Ray is a charming male pit bull terrier mix being cared for at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC.

Ray is gentle, and he plays well with kids. He is already house-trained, and his vaccinations are up-to-date.

From Ray's current caretaker:

This handsome hunk is Ray! Ray is a male American pit bull terrier mix born in approximately 2012 and rescued from a kill shelter in Maryland. Ray is housebroken, crate-trained, super smart, athletic and eager to please his people. Ray can be dog-selective, so a slow introduction is a must. He would do best in a home with older kids. Ray has been waiting so long for his forever home.

Sweet Sweet Shabba, boxer and American Staffordshire terrier mix

Sweet Sweet Shabba is a handsome male boxer and American Staffordshire terrier mix being kept at Mr. Bones & Co.

He's mastered his house-training etiquette, and he's vaccinated and neutered. Sweet Sweet Shabba is a special-needs pet, so please inquire about his specific care requirements.

Here's what Sweet Sweet Shabba's friends at Mr. Bones & Co. think of him:

Shabba was surrendered Dec. 29 after his owner was tired of him. He had been suffering from a congenital spinal injury his entire life (3 years) and had been knuckling (walking on the tops of his paws) and falling over repeatedly. His mobility was strictly limited, and because of the neglect of this injury, he was kept indoors and isolated.

Charlie, chihuahua mix

Charlie is a darling male chihuahua mix currently housed at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC.

Charlie gets along well with other dogs. He's already house-trained and has had all his shots.

Charlie's current caretakers say:

Charlie is a male chihuahua mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Charlie is 6 years old at time of intake in March 2020. Charlie is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Charlie was severely beaten, and upon intake, he had dents, bumps, missing teeth and his hind legs weren't working so well. His injuries are the result of severe abuse, but Rescue Dogs Rock NYC has picked up this shattered boy and put his life back together, and we have discovered a funny, sociable pup who loves attention and loves to be with his person.
