Trucker came to us from a shelter in southern Ohio. He had been neglected and living outside suffering from horrible allergies and and eye infections. With some vet care, Trucker is doing awesome! He is loving living inside a home, good with other dogs and often goes to doggy daycare. Trucker is housebroken and crate-trained. He will need eye meds long term and possibly allergy meds as well.

Garth came to us after he sat in shelter for nine months because he had heartworm and needed a rescue to help him. We couldn’t pass up that adorable hound face any longer! Garth has been treated for heartworm and shouldn’t have any lasting effects from it. He’s currently in a foster home learning what the good life is all about. Garth is working on his house crate training.

Blue is a most velvety gray sweet girl. She isn’t the clingy type who needs to be touching you every minute and have her paws all over you. Blue can come off as a bit shy or timid, but she has a very independent nature about her. But wait a few minutes and she will show you her soft, gentle side by wiggling over and leaning in for some scratches around the ears. Blue is a trooper as it was discovered that she has a torn ACL. She is looking for a home that can help her get through this surgery.

Hope is a social butterfly and she loves cats and dogs. She's spayed and has had all her shots. No need to worry: she's already house-trained.

Hope's only desire is to be a part of a family where the people reciprocate the love and commitment she has for them. Hope is up for anything. If you want to cuddle all day on the sofa, Hope will be the first under the covers. If you want to go for a long hike, Hope will be sitting quietly by the door waiting for you to leash her. As long as she's with her people, she's happy. Think of your worst day at work and entering your home to a wagging tail, smiling face and kisses. This is how Hope greets her foster Dad. From the time you arrive home. If you want her attention, she'll be there; if you need to get things done, Hope can entertain herself with her toys. You may find her quietly watching you with her sweet, longing eyes, pulling you in and softly communicating how thankful she is to be in your life. Hope has a variety of toys, including Nylabones, rope bones, food dispensing toys and balls. She enjoys playing fetch in the yard when the weather is nice. Hope loves having her ears, head, and back scratched and her facial expressions are sure to keep you laughing! Hope is also a quick learner and is ready to show off her skills.
