1. Suerte

Topping the list is Suerte. Located at 1800 E. Sixth St. in East Cesar Chavez, the Mexican spot is the highest-rated high-end Latin American restaurant in Austin, boasting 4.5 stars out of 445 reviews on Yelp.

"Traditional Mexican cooking techniques and dishes with ingredients sourced from central Texas farmers," notes the restaurant's Yelp profile.

Yelper Bridget L., who reviewed Comedor on March 30, wrote, "We had a delicious (and surprisingly affordable) brunch here. When you walk in, you're immediately stunned by the soaring, modern architecture. It's truly a beautiful space."

And Lisa B. noted, "Worth the hype and we enjoyed our dinner very much. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great and the flavoring was balanced and strong."

Yelper Sara P., who reviewed ATX Cocina on Feb. 13 wrote, "Absolutely amazing! We took clients here for dinner and everyone loved their meals. We all got a bunch of shared plates, and nobody left hungry."
