Jacksonville is seeing strong demand for sales representatives' skills. Employers in the industry posted 120 new jobs over the past week and 592 new jobs in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

The position of sales representative also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 152 companies listed open jobs for Jacksonville-based workers in that industry.

Top companies seeking local sales representatives include Technology Source, Family First Life/Priority Life Group and Highline Aftermarket. Jobs posted by Technology Source in the past month in the area also included sales executives and business development representatives.

Family First Life/Priority Life Group is hiring remote insurance agents and sales representatives. According to a recent job opening posted by Family First Life/Priority Life Group, "We are seeking entrepreneurial-spirited individuals who are interested in being part of the fastest-growing market available today, the Senior market."
