Heathcliff, Great Pyrenees and golden retriever mix

Heathcliff is a charming male Great Pyrenees and golden retriever mix in the care of Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Heathcliff will get along great with kids, cats and dogs. He's been vaccinated and neutered. Heathcliff has mastered his house-training etiquette.

Notes from Heathcliff's caretakers:

Heathcliff is two years old and 75 pounds. Yes, he's drop dead gorgeous, but if your Mom never told you, there's more to know than just how they look. Heathcliff is a very sweet and very shy boy. This is not a social party animal kind of guy. He prefers a low-key environment with kids past the screaming years and on to the sulking years. He warms up to people pretty quickly, but the patient adopter will be rewarded here.

Emilio, Great Pyrenees mix

Emilio is a male Great Pyrenees mix currently housed at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Emilio is a social animal — he's happy to keep company with cats, dogs and kids. He has had all of his shots, and he's neutered. Emilio is already house-trained.

Notes from Emilio's caretakers:

Emilio is three years old and 70 pounds. He is a very good boy, and he loves his people. However, this is not the dog for the beginning owner. He is affectionate with his people, but he is very sure that the UPS person is there to murder everyone, and he guards the door and the house accordingly. Emilio also keeps a close eye on the perimeter to be sure there are no intruders. This behavior is normal and fine but is not something with which the average lab owner is familiar. Potential adopters need to understand what flock guardians like Emilio do and what their needs are.

Carol, Labrador retriever mix

Carol is a female Labrador retriever mix currently housed at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Carol is a social animal — she gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. She is already house-trained. Carol is already spayed, and she has had all her shots.

Carol's current caretakers say:

Carol is an older puppy at around eight months old. She is petite at about 35 pounds but is still growing. Carol is all about the cuddles! She is a great balance of playful: during the day, she will happily accompany you on all of your walks or jogs but then be ready for the couch and Netflix by night.

Osage, Anatolian shepherd

Osage is a male Anatolian shepherd dog being kept at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Osage is happy to keep company with other dogs, cats and kids. He is neutered and vaccinated. Osage has mastered his house-training etiquette.

Here's what Osage's friends at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue think of him:

Osage is five years old and 110 pounds. He came to our rescue with his brother late last year, and he was in rough condition. Several months later, Osage is happy, healthy and looking for a home. Anyone who wants to adopt this dog is going to have to prove themselves worthy, as this dog is amazing. Osage is mellow and social and has good indoor manners. He walks well on a leash, and he is all about the petting. Osage is honestly pretty much perfect. Like all Anatolians, he should not be trusted to stay put off leash, and he needs a securely fenced yard.

Moses, Anatolian shepherd

Moses is a male Anatolian shepherd dog currently residing at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Moses loves children, cats and dogs. He's mastered his house-training etiquette. Moses' vaccinations are already up to date, and he's neutered. He is a special needs pet, so please inquire about his specific care requirements.

Here's what Moses' friends at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue think of him:

We see a lot of terrible situations doing what we do. This is one of those situations. Moses is six years old and 120 pounds. He is the kindest, sweetest, nicest dog in the history of ever. Someone shot him at close range and left a bullet in his spine. As the result of this injury, he has permanent nerve damage, and he will always be incontinent. Moses is going to need someone with a securely-fenced yard that can allow him to be outside where he is happiest, along with inside privileges. Indoors, he needs to wear a belly band with a pad because he leaks urine. This is a life-long affliction, and there is no cure for it.

Delta, husky mix

Delta is a darling female husky mix being cared for at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Delta loves other dogs. Her ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. Delta has mastered her house-training etiquette. She is spayed, and she has had all her shots.

From Delta's current caretaker:

Delta is beautiful young pup just under a year old and is as sweet as can be. Her foster family is working with her on manners, and she is doing well. She will fit right in with an active family.
