Topping the list is No. 9 Park. Located at 9 Park St. in Beacon Hill, the bar, French and Italian spot is the highest-rated high-end Italian restaurant in Boston, boasting four stars out of 662 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Ali S., who reviewed No. 9 Park on Dec. 12, wrote, "I had the luxury of coming here for a holiday business lunch. What a treat! The restaurant is easy-to-reach and in a lovely part of town. The space inside is elegant, yet cozy."

Yelper Rutvik P. wrote, "For entrees, we ordered potato gnocchi and confit chicken leg. The potato gnocchi was really good and light. The mushrooms served with the gnocchi were perfectly cooked and had a nice buttery flavor to it. The confit chicken was amazing."

Next up is Back Bay's Sorellina, situated at 1 Huntington Ave. (between Blagden and Dartmouth streets). With four stars out of 667 reviews on Yelp, the bar, Italian and Mediterranean spot has proven to be a local favorite.

The site has lots more information on Sorellina.

"Chef/Owner, Mistral and The Columbus Restaurant Group From the day that Chef Mammano opened the doors to Mistral in 1997, his biggest culinary venture yet was destined to become a legend of the Boston dining scene," the business says on Yelp, this time in the bio section of its profile. "A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Jamie established a reputation for himself amongst the country's most highly-regarded chefs. Along with partners Paul Roiff and Seth Greenberg, Chef Mammano created the concept for Mistral, a French/Mediterranean bistro in Boston's South End."

As to what the business is known for, "Located in the heart of Boston's historic Copley Square, renowned Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano's Italian inspired Sorellina presents modern interpretations of classic Italian cuisine with an emphasis on distinct preparations of the season's best offerings," it writes on Yelp in the section about specialties. "The extensive wine list follows the same inspiration by offering a mix of classic and contemporary selections with a focus on Italy's most reputable producers."

The site can tell you a thing or two more about Table.

As to what the business is known for, "Table is like no other dining experience in the North End," it states on Yelp in the section about specialties. "Seated at communal hand-crafted tables, you'll enjoy a nine-course Italian meal without looking at a menu. You'll be greeted by friendly staff awaiting your arrival, and seated with strangers who will eventually become friends."
