Looking to chow down on some Greek fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Gyro Grill, the new addition is located at 3660 W. 111st St. in Mount Greenwood.

According to the business' Facebook page, "All of our food is prepared by hand...We use recipes that were taught to our parents by our yiayia (grandmother) and papou (grandfather), brought over from Greece and passed down lovingly to us."

The menu features charbroiled pork souvlaki, homemade tzatziki sauce, kebab platters with your choice of protein (chicken, fish, pork or gyro meat) plus two sides (Greek potatoes, fries, rice or salad). Finish off your meal with the baklava dessert.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Gyro Grill seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Leslie S, who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 16, wrote, "This honestly may be the best gyro I've ever had! The meat is extremely tender and flavorful, the pita is crazy soft, and the tzatziki is clearly homemade. So happy [it's] in the neighborhood now. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items."

Yelper Stavros S. added, “A lot of unique offerings you won't see at other Greek restaurants. I highly recommend trying Mike's Gyrolls (eggrolls stuffed with gyro, onions, feta, etc.) and the saganaki sticks—a take on traditional saganaki. Everything we have had has been amazing, and I've already been twice in the first week!”

Gyro Grill has yet to share its business hours online.
