Hungry? A new neighborhood fast food restaurant has you covered. The fresh arrival to East Dallas, called Invasions, can be found at 4029 Crutcher St.
Invasions specializes in gourmet, health-conscious fare made from high-quality ingredients, as noted on its Facebook page. The menu features items like roasted corn in a cup, a fried chicken sandwich with spicy mayonnaise, a prawn plate and chicken wings with a choice of sauce, such as red chimichurri or signature buffalo.
The newcomer has already attracted fans thus far, considering it's garnered a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
Erik R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new eatery on May 22, wrote, "I got the Notorious, my wife got the Cardi B and we did the elote flight. First of all, elote flight? Yes please. All three flavors were amazing, and portions were abundant. The Notorious was excellent. Great bun, juicy, flavorful patty stuffed with mozzarella that stretched with nearly every bite. Easily top five burgers I've had in Dallas."
And Lindsay L. wrote, "The Cardi B fried chicken sandwich was unreal, highly recommend. The Bomb sauce had some heat, but the Brussels and potatoes plus the chicken bites in it were perfect, and a healthy alternative."
Head on over to check it out: Invasions is open from 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. and 5–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and from noon–3 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
