New Hawaiian spot Maui Exiles debuts in HendersonPhoto: Maui Exiles/Yelp

A new Hawaiian spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Henderson, called Maui Exiles, is located at 2895 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite A.

Among the menu offerings are poke bowls, burgers, fish sandwiches, Hawaiian-style ribs, pork and chicken, poached shrimp in garlic, sushi rolls and a Japanese "taco" in a nori shell.

Maui Exiles has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Lei H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 17, wrote, "One word for everything at this place — amazing. Amazing food, amazing and such friendly service and amazing decor. ... It's also quite a big restaurant, and they do dine-in."

Yelper David S. added, “I liked the char on the Huli Huli chicken, and the sauce on it was good. The vegan fried rice had a ton of veggies and not just the usual frozen peas and carrots. The adobo was also very tasty without being overly salty as many other places make it.”

Head on over to check it out. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and from 5–8 p.m. daily.
