Beach Haven gets a new sushi bar: Sake HousePhoto: Sake House/Yelp

A new sushi bar and teppanyaki spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Beach Haven, called Sake House, is located at 12620 Beach Blvd.

The business bills itself as "minimal Japanese grill & sushi bar with creative rolls and some fusion items plus beer, wine and sake," according to its Facebook page.

At this spot, you can order sushi a la carte or share the love boat, which comes with 12 pieces of sashimi, 16 pieces of sushi plus one California roll, one tuna roll and one salmon roll. The menu also features appetizers, chef's special rolls and grilled hibachi options including lobster, scallops and steak.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Sake House has already made a good impression.

Alicia H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 17, wrote, "Enjoyed salmon, fish roe, spicy tuna salad, the manhattan roll, side of noodles, and app of roti.  If you've never tried roti (it's a thin flaky buttery bread you dip in peanut sauce), I highly recommend trying it here—it was so yummy!"

Yelper Jenny V. wrote, "Decided to give Sake House a try for dinner tonight. Ordered to-go. We really enjoyed the Florida and summer rolls. So yummy! We'll defInitely be back."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Sake House is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon–9 p.m. on Sunday.
