Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the most excellent affordable breweries in Dallas, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're in the mood to imbibe on a budget.

1. Peticolas Brewing Company

Topping the list is Peticolas Brewing Company. Located at 1301 Pace St. in the Design District, the beer bar and tap room is the highest-rated economical brewery in Dallas, boasting 4.5 stars out of 170 reviews on Yelp.

In the words of the business' Yelp profile, "Our family-friendly tap room features 18 Peticolas beers on-tap, made on-site in our brewery, including nitro, fruited beer [and] one unique traditional cask beer," it notes in the section explaining specialties.

"Our tri-level tap room is truly unique," its Yelp bio continues. The Bishop Arts District's Bishop Cider Co., settled at 509 N. Bishop Ave., Suite C, is another prime choice, with Yelpers giving the low-cost bar, brewery and cidery 4.5 stars out of 156 reviews.

"We are a unique cidery, making a large variety of ciders that never leave our facility to be mass-produced," touts the business on Yelp in the section pertianing to specialties. "Instead, we serve the freshest, highest-quality products, being A-type about the cider we serve. We put every offering through a rigorous test, with the goal to make the most interesting, complex, flavorful ciders that we know will leave you craving more."

4. Community Beer Company

Last but not least is Community Beer Company, a budget-friendly brewery in the Design District, with four stars out of 180 Yelp reviews. Head over to 1530 Inspiration Drive to give it a try for yourself.

According to its Yelp page, the business provides "Local, award-winning craft beer, handmade with a purpose: bringing people together from all walks of life through quality beer," as stated on Yelp in the specialty section.
