Looking to visit the finest convenience shops around town, but don't want to spend a fortune?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the most excellent affordable convenience stores in Dallas, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're in need of a pit stop.

1. Fuel City

Topping the list is Fuel City. Located at 801 S. Riverfront Blvd. in downtown Dallas, the convenience outlet and taco shop is the most popular inexpensive convenience store in Dallas, boasting four stars out of 1,133 reviews on Yelp. 

Yelper J S., who reviewed Fuel City Tacos on March 27, wrote, "Flavorful, quick and cheap! The best tacos in Dallas, in my opinion. ... Go for the pork or beef."

Nate C. added, "Some of the best street tacos around, and plenty of food for a low price. Plus, if you go at the right time, they have longhorn cattle hanging out nearby! Great for midday food or a (very) late dinner."

2. Crown Grocery & Deli

Oak Cliff's Crown Grocery & Deli, settled at 1210 S. Hampton Road, is another primo choice, with Yelpers giving the economical deli and convenience store, which offers burgers and more, 4.5 stars out of 18 reviews.

Over in Love Field Area, check out this outpost of the national chain QuikTrip, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 15 reviews on Yelp. You'll find the convenience store and gas station by heading over to 3230 W. Mockingbird Lane.

Yelper Kristian D., who reviewed QuikTrip on May 18 wrote, "This is right next to Love Field, and is an excellent stop to refuel your rental cars. This location has lots of pumps and easy access. Prices are cheap, and you can stock up on snacks before your flight."

Tony R. said, "Always easy to get [to] and very clean. They also have the cheapest gas prices in town."

4. Quik Way Food Marts

And then there's Quik Way Food Marts, an Upper Greenville favorite with four stars out of 16 reviews. Stop by 8106 Southwestern Blvd. to hit up convenience shop the next time you're looking to stock up on supplies while on a budget. 

"This place is great for tacos and Mexican food," wrote Yelper David G., who reviewed Quik Way Food Marts on April 4. "The food is amazing, big tacos and cheap. ... The other Mexican restaurants are good, but this convenient store has them beat!"
