Five Stops on the Tour

This year's lineup includes five homes.

A Tradition With Deep Local Roots

The Greenville chapter of Altrusa International holds an annual Tour of Homes, one of the chapter's local events.

The Greenville chapter's community work extends beyond the holiday season.

FISH’s services reach beyond groceries. Hunt County Shared Ministries says it connects residents with food, help keeping utilities on, weekend meals for children and referrals to other community resources, serving tens of thousands of residents each year. The ministry traces its beginnings to a small effort to share food with families and says it became known as FISH in 1981, after members of Grace Presbyterian Church joined the work, the organization’s history explains.

The Greenville chapter’s work with FISH also includes a school-year food program: Meals for At-Risk Kids, or MARK, which provides food for students over weekends and school breaks.
