Aurora's health care industry is experiencing strong job growth. Local employers posted 40 new jobs over the past week, and 108 in the last month, more than any other local industry, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

The health care sector also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs. In the past month, 34 companies listed open jobs for Aurora-based workers in that area.

Top companies hiring locally in health care include Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, GHR Travel Nursing and Juniper Village at Aurora. 

Regarding the most in-demand occupations in this sector, Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care and GHR Travel Nursing were both looking for Aurora-based registered nurses. Juniper Village at Aurora listed new openings for licensed practical nurses and supervisors.
