A New American restaurant and bar has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh addition, called Southside Rambler, can be found at 1264 W. Magnolia Ave.

Southside Rambler offers a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails, and serves brunch on weekends. On the regular menu, items range from nachos, fried pickle chips, warm pimento cheese dip, salads and poutine to chicken tortilla soup, fish tacos, a brisket grilled cheese sandwich and a list of assorted hamburger options.

The newcomer has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp.

Alix S., who was among the first Yelpers to review Southside Rambler on May 28, wrote, "This place is amazing! Some of the best food I've had on Magnolia, and very reasonable prices. The patio area is nice and spacious. ... Highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip and the fish and chips."

Yelper Ryan D. added, “Very cool spot! Amazing patio right on Magnolia Avenue. Perfect for a casual meal. I had the chicken tender basket, which is exceptional — you can tell they're homemade."

Head on over to check it out: Southside Rambler is open from 11 a.m.–midnight daily.
