Hungry? A new neighborhood kosher spot has you covered. Called Lenny's Casita, the new arrival is located at 4817 W. Pico Blvd. in Mid-Wilshire.

Lenny's Casita serves up kosher MexiCali street food from Chef Lenny of Charcoal, Doma, Alenbi and Mike's bistro, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. On the menu, look for vegan potato empanadas, smoked brisket flatbread and crispy hard shell beef cheek tacos.

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Lenny's Casita seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Pauline L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 26, wrote, "...We got a brisket burrito and a cachete burrito and loved both of them. Meat was soft and tender, other ingredients were fresh. The spicy aioli and chimichurri were fantastic."

Yelper Benjy S. added, “This is not like any other kosher establishment in Los Angeles. Lenny's Casita is unique, flavorful and creative in everything that they do... The flatbreads were out of this world, as were the tacos.”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Lenny's Casita is open from 4:30–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 3–10 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Friday and Saturday.)
