Craving burgers? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Montrose, called Daddy's Burgers, is located at 3422 Allen Parkway.

Daddy's Burgers is "a pop-up concept hosted in The Dunlavy for the summer of 2020," according to the business' website. "Daddy’s Burgers is a summertime fun experience for great burgers, shakes, craft cocktails and cold beer in frozen mugs." On the menu, look for breakfast tacos, single and double burgers, beignets, ice cream sandwiches and signature cocktails like the Lost Lake Margarita.

With a 3.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Daddy's Burgers has gotten off to a solid start.

Eren D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 10, wrote, " Beautiful ambiance given it's inside the Dunlavy. But as for burgers, this missed the mark... The burger patties were dry and flavors uninspiring, nothing that separates it from any other basic burger. The chicken sandwich was the saving grace, crispy to last bite and nice size."

Yelper Sara B. added, “My family enjoyed dinner here last night. Food was excellent! The fried chicken sandwich with spicy sauce was the winning pick of our table. Nice beer, wine, cocktail offering.”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Daddy's Burgers is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday.
