He’s definitely worth the extra effort. Once he gets to know you, he will take to your lap and beg for affection. Toby is an adorable male Australian cattle dog mix being cared for at City of Fort Worth Animal Shelter.

Toby is the life of the party — he gets along great with other dogs. Rest assured: He is already neutered, vaccinated and house-trained.

Meet Toby! Toby is your typical goofy puppy. He’s clumsy, playful and an excellent cuddle buddy. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you, but after that, you have a best bud for life. Toby does still have some puppy traits that we are working on currently, such as jumping when excited and playful mouthing. He’s a smart boy and is learning quickly. Toby loves to play tug with his favorite rope, and loves to play chase out in the yard. After he tromps around in the yard, Toby likes to sprawl out to cool off on the floor. It’s the just the cutest thing. He pretty much has a permanent smile on his face, and cannot wait to find his forever home.

My name is Dozer and I’m a two-year-old, medium-sized pup. Even though I always look serious, I’m actually a nice and sometimes goofy boy. I will sit, shake and lay down for treats. I love going for walks and I don’t even pull on the leash (unless I see a squirrel, or another dog). Car rides are my jam. I like to chew on all my rubber toys, but prefer just sleeping on the couch or watching Netflix with a human. I stay in the crate when I’m home alone, but I’d much rather be your sidekick. I’m looking for a family to call my own, so don’t waste time — holla at your boy!
