A Texas native with Oakland ties, Bruno-Jackson has been linked to a shooting that took place in the 1600 block of 99th Avenue just before 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023, according to the  OPD.

In hopes of garnering helpful information from the community, the OPD released pictures of Bruno-Jackson and offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest, in collaboration with CrimeStoppers of Oakland. Residents are urged to contact the Oakland Police Department Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426 or the TIP LINE at (510) 238-7950 if they have any information regarding the suspect's whereabouts or the case itself.

It's worth noting that the attempted homicide transpired after a dispute in an East Oakland residence, which ended in a 46-year-old man getting shot multiple times on the evening of June 15, 2023. The victim was initially listed in critical condition but was later upgraded to stable, as Mercury News reported. The shooting occurred at the man's home, which is located in the Iveywood area of East Oakland. The suspect, believed to be Bruno-Jackson, fled the scene before the police arrived.

The OPD has not released any further information about the suspect's motives or the exact nature of the dispute that preceded the shooting. However, the severity of the case and the OPD's appeal to the public for help in locating Bruno-Jackson highlight the urgency of apprehending the suspect and bringing him to justice.
