In celebration of the 30th anniversary of its iconic brand, Jurassic Park has opened its gates to fans in East Village, bringing the magic of the prehistoric adventure back to life. Happening alongside the reputed Comic-Con, this free, open-to-the-public experience got fans in a frenzy, with some even beginning to camp out as early as 1 a.m. to be among the first to enter on July 21, 2023, according to a FOX 5 San Diego article.
The Jurassic Park experience invites visitors to embark on a prehistoric journey while exploring the sets of Jurassic Park and recreating the franchise's memorable moments. Coinciding with the fan-heavy Comic-Con, all that's required is a reservation or patience to wait in line, per the Jurassic Park's official website.

But the fun doesn't end with just walking through sets and reliving the magic. This nostalgia-filled event offers giveaways, Jurassic-themed food, exclusive merchandise, and much more. The "Step Into Jurassic Park" event, which took place on July 21 and 22, provided exciting attractions and surprises for attendees, owing to the collaboration of Amazon, John Soules, and Boxed Water, as detailed by Jurassic Outpost.
Upon stepping into the interactive Amazon product showcase at the Visitor's Center, attendees with reserved spots gained access to a trove of Amazon exclusives from the Jurassic Park Amazon store, featuring toys, apparel, and accessories that capture the spirit of the adventure. Shoppable QR codes were provided to make the shopping experience seamless and allow fans to conveniently order items directly from Amazon. As a bonus, there was fast, free delivery for Prime members.
Hungrier fans were also in for a treat, with John Soules offering Jurassic World-themed dinosaur nuggets and other Jurassic-inspired bites during the two-day extravaganza. The event featured designated dining areas for enjoying 100% natural white-meat chicken nuggets in the shape of iconic dinosaurs from the film with a variety of dipping sauces. To top it off, Boxed Water provided crisp, eco-friendly hydration throughout the event.
