Firefighters battled a 25-acre fire at I-580 X Grant Line Rd in the Altamont area of Alameda County, dubbed the #GrantFire, engaging emergency services from multiple agencies; the freeway's #4 lane was closed as they fought against the blaze, and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) began investigating reports of multiple fires spread over an 8-mile stretch along I-580, which has sparked concerns about potential arson.
