Deandre Singletary, a 30-year-old man from Roxbury, was arrested yesterday, August 30, on drug trafficking charges, as he was found to be carrying approximately 22 grams of crack cocaine in his vehicle.
According to a report by the Boston Police Department, Singletary was apprehended after officers observed a motor vehicle with a registered owner having a suspended license, including six active warrants for his arrest.
A closer look at the case reveals that Singletary was also charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Two Counts of Forgery, Operating After a Suspended License, Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Larceny over $1,200.
