The search for 61-year-old Guy Jones, a Hayward man who went missing on Wednesday, has intensified as the concerned community mobilizes in the effort to help locate him. According to KRON4, Jones was last seen leaving his home on Standish Avenue in Hayward at 6 a.m. the previous day, wearing a green shirt and walking with the aid of a cane.
Alarmed by his sudden disappearance, caretakers and friends who worry for Guy's well-being have called on the community for help, and the Alameda County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) has taken up the cause, urging anyone with information to come forward. Described as a 5-foot-7, 200-pound man with brown eyes and a bald head, as per Alameda County Sheriff's Department's Twitter.
