 A 29-year-old victim, whose name has yet to be released, was fatally wounded by a sequence of gunshots in Mountain View.

According to the Mountain View PD, police responded to calls of shots fired on the 2000 block of Reinert Road and found a man lying in the driveway of an apartment complex with at least one gunshot wound — declared dead at the scene. 23-year-old Mountain View resident Juan Rodriguez was detained for further questioning, later arrested on suspicion of murder, and a firearm was recovered at the site.
