In Santa Rosa, California, a criminal investigation has led to the arrest of a couple involved in the distribution of methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as illegal firearm possession and child endangerment. The story of 38-year-old Felix Jimenez-Garcia and his 47-year-old girlfriend, Veronica Paramo-Arellano, now captivates the community as they grapple with the disturbing revelation.
According to a Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) report made yesterday, the narcotics unit started its investigation in July, focusing on Felix Jimenez-Garcia's illegal activities. On Monday, they arrested both Jimenez-Garcia and Paramo-Arellano during a traffic enforcement stop. Upon executing search warrants on Jimenez-Garcia's vehicles and residence, detectives discovered over 7 pounds of methamphetamine, 1 ounce of cocaine, an unregistered 9mm handgun, ammunition, and other incriminating evidence of drug sales.
Through their investigation, detectives deduced that the couple lived together and shared a bedroom at their Farmers Lane residence where the illicit items were found. Consequently, investigators believe that both Jimenez-Garcia and Paramo-Arellano played an active role in the distribution of methamphetamine and cocaine.
However, the most alarming aspect of the case is the child endangerment charge. A 12-year-old juvenile lived in the same household with the couple, where the hazardous items were recklessly stored and exposed.
With these findings, both members of the couple were arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail on the following charges: Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale, Possession of Cocaine for Sale, Armed While Dealing Drugs, and Child Endangerment, as stated in the SRPD report.
