Freeway Fiasco: Non-Injury Shooting Shakes Up Oakland

Early Tuesday morning, a non-injury freeway shooting occured in Oakland. The incident, which took place on eastbound State Route 24 (SR-24) between 51st Street and Claremont Avenue in Oakland, CA, has prompted the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to seek assistance from the public in its ongoing investigation.

According to the media advisory published by CHP Oakland, the possible freeway shooting is believed to have occurred at around 5:30 a.m., with officers responding to the calls at approximately 10:39 a.m. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and the adult victim was contacted by the officers. However, the victim's vehicle did sustain damage from the incident.
