In the early morning hours of Monday, August 28th, three suspects were arrested in connection with the possession of a firearm and an attempted armed robbery in Boston's South End.

The suspects, identified as Ahmed Doumbia, 21, Alpha Bah, 22, both from Dorchester, and Souleymane Barry-Diallo, 29, of Roslindale, were apprehended after officers quickly responded to the scene, locating the suspects' vehicle and conducting a routine traffic stop, according to Boston Police Department.

Upon initiating the traffic stop at the intersection of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Washington Street, officers proceeded to make contact with all three occupants, instructing them to exit the vehicle.
