KTVU reporter Henry K. Lee reported on his Twitter that a 64 year old senior has been charged with a hate crime and vandalism by the Alameda County DA.

The incident in question involved a man alledgedly tearing down LGBTQ+ posters during Pride Month at a senior living facility in Emeryville, California. He is also alleged to have expressed his hatred toward gay men to the 71-year-old woman who put up the posters at the facility.

He then supposedly proceeded to put up his own poster asserting that marriage is strictly between a man and a woman.
