In the city of San Rafael, a violent crime spree was brought to an abrupt stop yesterday, with the arrest of three juvenile suspects involved in multiple incidents of battery and robbery. The San Rafael Police Department (SRPD) was alerted to two separate cases concerning a white Chevrolet Suburban, with the suspects wearing ski masks, as detailed by the San Rafael PD.
The first event took place in the parking lot of Terra Linda High School, where the masked perpetrators robbed and attacked their victim. A second call came in from paramedics near Terra Linda Kaiser Hospital, reporting the same suspicious vehicle with ski-masked occupants. Subsequently, another victim was battered and robbed on Nova Albion Way. While these distinct crimes were being investigated, SRPD officers located the suspect vehicle parked near Munson Park in Terra Linda.
As the officers tried to stop the vehicle, it sped away, leading the authorities on a chase. The pursuit ended without any further incident when the suspects were apprehended with their victims' stolen property and other evidence found in their possession. The young perpetrators were booked into Marin County Juvenile Hall for felony robbery and felony evading police officers.
