It all began when a fight broke out between two groups at the Antioch Marina, with shots being fired, as the altercation continued and the groups departed the scene in their vehicles, the violence escalated, with more gunfire erupting in the 1000 block of W. 6th Street CBS News San Francisco reported on the same day.

The teenage victim was driven to Century Plaza in Pittsburg, where a frantic call was made to the authorities at 2:58 a.m. She was soon transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for her injuries, as her condition was confirmed to be critical per the Antioch Police Department.
