Fair organizers have recently unveiled a list of 65 tantalizing new menu items, but one dish, in particular, has been piquing the interest of food aficionados – the Thanksgiving Nachos. Served atop a bed of waffle fries, this delightful creation combines turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, elevating the humble nacho to new levels of gastronomic wonder. Apart from the much-talked-about Thanksgiving Nachos, the fair will also introduce a host of other inventive dishes, ranging from sweet to savory. And for those who love the interplay of savory and sweet, the Ferrindino maple bacon hot dog – a hot dog glazed in maple syrup and topped with bits of bacon - may just hit that flavor sweet spot.

As NBC Connecticut reveals, there will be an array of intriguing options for visitors to enjoy, such as Mexican street corn pizza, sweet potato sushi, a Doritos gyro, and even a quirky pickle donut paired with pickle lemonade.
