David Garcia, Ely Zorrilla, and Roger Spring were apprehended in East Boston, in connection with not only drugs but also illegal firearm possession, yesterday.

Two of the firearms seized in the operation were classified as "ghost guns" – unserialized, homemade, or improvised firearms without any identification markings or registration.

The case began with police officers investigating complaints about trespassing and illegal drug activity in the 800 Border Street area.

The perpetrators attempted to evade the officers when approached, leading officers into a struggle with one of the suspects.

Their efforts eventually unmasked a loaded "ghost gun" that was discovered on their person. In another arrest related to the case, officers recovered a second loaded "ghost gun," along with 31 THC vials and an unspecified amount of marijuana from the suspect's vehicle, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
