Early this morning, a 33-year-old Hispanic man was stabbed while walking along the 4600 block of Border Village Road near Virginia Avenue. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the attack took place around 2:30 a.m. when the victim became engaged in a verbal altercation with a Hispanic man riding a black bicycle. This argument quickly escalated and the man on the bicycle allegedly stabbed the victim in the right forearm with a knife.

As this dangerous situation unfolded, the suspect fled the scene, heading westbound on Border Village Road. This left the victim injured but, fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening. It seems that the victim was reluctant to cooperate with the authorities, providing conflicting statements throughout the investigation carried on by the San Diego Police Department's (SDPD) Southern Division, as reported by Fox 5 San Diego.

Due to the victim's uncooperativeness, law enforcement is turning to the public for any assistance they can provide in tracking down the assailant and shedding light on what transpired on that fateful night. Authorities encourage anyone with information related to the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
