
26-year-old Hason Bardwell was arrested earlier this week, after attacking a 32-year-old male with a deadly weapon, leaving the victim in a serious condition.
According to the Chicago Police Department, Bardwell has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery/use deadly weapon, one felony count of aggravated domestic battery/strangle, and one felony count of attempted murder/first-degree.
The incident occured on Tuesday, September 13th, when Bardwell, a resident of Maywood, Illinois, attacked the victim in the 7800 block of S. Phillips Ave in the 4th District. After a timely intervention by the Great Lakes Regional Task Force, Bardwell was apprehended in the 5800 block of S. Maryland Ave. at around 4:10 p.m. the same day.
Today, Bardwell is due to appear before the Central Bond Court. According to the Chicago Police Department, no additional information regarding the incident is available at this time.
