A 37-year-old man was shot on the 9100 Block of S. Halsted on Wednesday. According to the Chicago Police Department, the man sustained a gunshot wound to the face while traveling in his vehicle at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The victim related to officers that the offender was traveling in a black sedan at the time of the incident.
He was quickly transported to Roseland Hospital, where he is reportedly in fair condition. No arrests have been made, and Area Two Detectives are diligently investigating the case.
The victim's identity remains undisclosed.
