Earlier today, Janet Issacs, a 62-year-old African American woman, disappeared from her home in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago.
She suffers from dementia and was last seen without a phone, money, or identification, according to the Chicago Police Department.
As reported by the authorities, Janet was last seen wearing a blue quilted jacket, blue jeans, dark sandals, and carrying a brown handbag. Standing at 5'11" and weighing 170 pounds, her distinctive physical features are her brown eyes and hair.
