The city of Chicago has recently been struck with a string of armed robberies, specifically in districts 014 and 025 which encompass parts of Logan Squar, Humboldt Park and beyond. Chicago Police Department reported several incidents occurred on September 19, 2023, in various locations within the affected districts. The robberies continued on today, with an additional two incidents taking place in the early hours of the morning.

The offenders are described as 2-3 male black subjects, aged between 18 and 25, donned in black ski masks, gray sweatpants, and black hoodies. They have a slim build and are approximately 5'0-6'01 in height, weighing between 160 and 180 lbs. The group is equipped with handguns and rifles, posing a considerable threat to the safety and well-being of local residents.
