The city of Chicago has recently been struck with a string of armed robberies, specifically in districts 014 and 025 which encompass parts of Logan Squar, Humboldt Park and beyond. In these incidents, unsuspecting victims were approached by the perpetrators who quickly jumped out of a vehicle, brandishing firearms, and demanded the victims' personal possessions. The criminals were seen in a Gray Infiniti Q50 Sedan, making their escapes after aggressively intimidating their targets by stating, "Give me your wallet or I'll kill you."
Chicago Police Department reported several incidents occurred on September 19, 2023, in various locations within the affected districts. The robberies continued on today, with an additional two incidents taking place in the early hours of the morning.
The offenders are described as 2-3 male black subjects, aged between 18 and 25, donned in black ski masks, gray sweatpants, and black hoodies. They have a slim build and are approximately 5'0-6'01 in height, weighing between 160 and 180 lbs. The group is equipped with handguns and rifles, posing a considerable threat to the safety and well-being of local residents.

According to the Community Alert, residents are urged to remain aware of their surroundings and any unfamiliar or suspicious individuals in their vicinity. Furthermore, adopting measures such as walking in groups when possible, avoiding carrying large sums of money, and promptly alerting the police and neighbors to any suspicious activity can effectively help reduce risk and strengthen community solidarity.
