In the early hours of Saturday, September 9, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at 12 Greenock Street, Dorchester, at around 5:26 AM.
As the Boston Police Department (Official) reported on their Facebook page, officers assigned to District B-3 (Dorchester/Mattapan) responded to the scene, where they discovered an adult woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Tragically, she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
A second victim was found at the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries, having been shot multiple times at the same location.
The identity of the victims was not revealed to the public. The Boston Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this devastating event.
