Boston law enforcement officers arrested 36-year-old Tavanti Dortch, charging him with multiple firearm and drug-related offenses after uncovering a rifle and drugs in his possession during a search warrant execution in the area of 65 Martha Road, yesterday, according to the Boston Police Department.
The seizure quickly of a Palmetto State Armory P-15 Rifle, along with 29 rounds in the magazine, and multiple plastic bags believed to contain crack cocaine, cocaine, and miscellaneous pills, speaks to the deeply entrenched issues that continue to threaten the city's safety and security, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
As Dortch now faces charges for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute class B drugs.
