On Tuesday, an offender identified as Sean Brown, 44, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of a 45-year-old man, according to the Chicago Police Department
The tragic incident occurred on September 8, in Chicago's South Side neighborhood within the 8000 block of S. Hermitage.
Members of the Chicago Police Department, alongside the Great Lakes Regional Task Force, successfully arrested Brown earlier this week, in the 10000 block of W. O'Hare St.
Details regarding the investigation leading to the arrest as well as the suspected motive have not yet been revealed.
As reported by the Chicago Police Department, Brown is expected to appear in the Central Bond Court at 2600 S. California on September 15, 2023, for the arraignment process. Bond court proceedings will contribute to the unfolding story as new information will likely become available to the public.
