Yesterday evening, September 27, a chilling event occurred in West Madison, Chicago. A 43-year-old man was shot by an unknown assailant as a vehicle pulled up alongside him.
The incident took place around 9:27 p.m. in the vicinity of the 3100 block of West Madison.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the victim was standing on the street when the vehicle pulled up, and the offender inside opened fire in his direction.
Subsequently, the victim managed to self-transport to Stroger Hospital in stable condition. No offender remains in custody at present, and Area Four Detectives are leading the investigation.
